Sports / Life - Eventhough I am a US citizen now, I still take pride of my motherland Iran. Iran is a beautiful country with thousand years of history.
Recently I was speaking to one of my co workers about skiing and snow boarding. When I told him I learned how to ski in Iran, he asked doubtfuly “Really? you guys have snow in Iran?”
Many people often picture the entire middle east as one big hot desert. Well I must admit we have our hot deserts but we also have our beatiful mountains and mountains cities too. Don’t belive me? check out this recent video from Touchal, which is one of Iran’s ski resorts:

Thank you for the vid. I’m not suprized that Iran has Skiing, I see by topo maps that Iran has lots of verticle. Skiing is some of the most fun you can have………But are you sure its ok with the hardline muslims? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Infidel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hardliners are against everything in Iran but there is very little support for them from the people great majority of people are against them and I believe it is just matter of time people can win the power back.
