Linux - Ubuntu, one of the most favoirate distrobutions of Linux is officially released and you can download the entire operating system from Ubuntu website, of course for free.
I am very excited because I haven’t ran Linux since Redhat 6.2, which you can imagine was years ago. I have a couple of sites that run on Linux but I don’t host those servers my hosting company does so I don’t have much control over those.
My plan is to install Ubuntu desktop and server at home on two of my old PIII machine swhich should be good enough for what I wanted to do. At this point I am going to use them for development only. Also playing around with the latest Ubuntu should be fun.
I will blog more often about Ubuntu and Linux in general so stay tuned.
