Life- I remember when I was going to high school in Iran, every friend of mine who wanted to become an engineer wanted to go to Sharif University of Technology. When it comes to technology, this school compares to top technical universities in the world such as MIT, Oxford, Harvard, and others.
It is a very hard school to get in and to graduate from. Now according to this US expert and Dean of Harvard Stanford University school of Engineering, this school has the best Electrical Engineering program in the world. Also I remember back in college days when I was going to California State University, one of our guest college professors who was an MIT full time professor, said that he was surprised when programmers from Iran’s Sharif Unveristy came third place in world’s programming contents where US’ programmers from MIT came 10th.
Most defiantly something for us to brag about considering Iran being a developing country:
